Here we see more wild commands from God about the system He never wanted… but the Israelites had rejected Him right before entering upon hearing the alarming stuff ten of the spies had said in chapter 13. Regardless, at least it was important to know the difference between a completely accidental death or some other sin than if anything was done with a high hand (that is, if someone defies the Lord Jesus in what they’re doing; sorry I had forgotten to mention that this morning). This chapter is found in pages 90-91 of the NKJV Bible I have for this four-translation project, pages 115-116 of the NASB Bible (Old Testament), pages 183-184 of my VOICE copy, and pages 187-188 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.
I often fear I’ve done something that literally endangered someone’s life without knowing it, even if I’m within five feet of them, and while I’ve never killed anyone before (it should be this way for every last human being, period), I can never forgive myself if someone commits suicide because they didn’t believe I believed it was good for them to live 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 and I want everyone to live with no death in sight 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 I’ve mentioned to several people concerning one friend who died in April 2022, saying to each one “I wonder what I would’ve done differently if I had known they were going to commit suicide…” and when I mentioned that to my brother and my therapist in separate conversations, both said it wasn’t my fault this happened, but I have survivor’s guilt from everything I had experienced that year — that was a wild roller coaster 🎢 ride with barely any mercy, especially since that friend who had committed suicide was one of SEVEN deaths I experienced then, one of which I didn’t know about until a month after the fact, but I can’t go into detail about these events here… at least, for now.
As I was writing this, a friend of mine offered me a ticket to a Diamondbacks baseball game, and I’m honestly pretty interested. I hope and pray it’s a fun time for both of us!
