I’m glad the Lord God decided to leave a property to each of the five women whose father perished for his wickedness (though he wasn’t part of Korah’s company in chapter 16), and also, He had to remind Moses of what he had done in Numbers 20:10-11. Later passages would mention He was actually angry at him for this β I just thought I’d mention it now, since Deuteronomy is filled with rememberances of many things, including Moses and Aaron’s sins; not even they could enter the promise land. Moses also mentions the sins of Israel several times in that book π and if I can get to that part of Scripture, I won’t really have a lot of fun with that one, if I’m being honest with you… but it’s worth it to remember that Deuteronomy was only for a season, and Jesus is forever. This chapter is found in pages 96-97 of the NKJV Bible I have for this four-translation project, page 123 of the NASB Bible (Old Testament; this is from the 1995 version like in all my other posts that mention it, for I didn’t take into account that a new version would come out lol), pages 194-195 of my VOICE copy, and pages 198-199 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.
I think it’s great that God decided to give all 5 of Zelophehad’s daughters the inheritance they deserve here, for there were probably no women’s rights in these days, and whoever mentioned they were good must’ve been shamed into compliance β I don’t want to suffer the same fate with what I believe, church community or otherwise. However, I noticed that last week, they voted unanimously here in Arizona to not require churches to report sexual abuse on children, and now, I’m wishing I had been born in a different part of the world where the well-being of my nieces would actually be upheld. These lawmakers and voters are going to Hell… and not many would believe this truth. Even my therapist blurted the nonsense that there’s two sides to every story in things like this ππππππππ maybe she was simply scared of the truth? I don’t know… but the only human who didn’t question me in this was a Starbucks manager at work; she’s a huge delight π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°ππππππππππππππππππ I pray she can find love in Jesus, knowing that church is supposed to be the world’s safest place, period. And I’ve had a taste of that for a while, but over the last few years, I’ve noticed it had become too political for my liking, and I realised the Spirit of God never had His way here, really πππππππππππ every time the true church says or does anything, the falsehood-lovers who may have founded all the churches in the country always trample underfoot the poor and needy humans among them while claiming to honour them and God in serving them π€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈ this is the Great Apostasy perfected indeed. For though corruption went down in the U.S., the pandemic had ended, and inflation cooled off big time, all in 2023, the Americans hated the good and were unwilling to give glory to God without maniacally obsessing over Trump and other atheists who pretend to follow Jesus and are more or less like him, and would even close-mindedly reference Luke 19:11-27 to say that Trump was who Jesus was speaking of π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬ politics is ridiculous enough already, but this?! All I can really do is shake my head, shrug my shoulders, and holy crap, there are extremists cleverly disguising their wicked souls with a faux pas of their faith in Jesus, ruling the world forever? I’m better off dying as a martyr at this point, and I have goals I want to accomplish, such as paying off my student loans and making it to all my nieces’ events and supporting their endeavours. But enough of my ranting… I’m again glad God decided to give Zelophehad’s five daughters an equal share of an inheritance ππππππΈπΌπΈπΌπΈπΌπΈπΌπΈπΌπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈπ§πΌβπ©°π§πΌβπ©°π§πΌβπ©°π§πΌβπ©°π§πΌβπ©°ππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌπ―πΌββοΈπ―πΌββοΈπ―πΌββοΈπ―πΌββοΈπ―πΌββοΈ I’m planning the same thing with my nieces and their children, however many they decide to have, but I don’t know if it’ll be wise to do that even if we lived in an actual safe country… oh well, that’ll be many years from now.
The second half of this chapter deals with Joshua succeeding Moses, and I have to mention again that sin shouldn’t be remembered all that much. Of course, Jesus wouldn’t come into the world for another 1,400 years or so, but too many people highlight things that aren’t even anything more than trivial, and from this through the rest of the first half of the Old Testament (and also many other later passages in Scripture), forgiveness is practically criminalised. I’ll never forget the words of the buttholes who preach against the way of salvation for all humans, for they claim God’s wrath comes before we even have a chance to believe. And I’ve seen those guys who worship them ruin my life, and for what?! A claim of safety that doesn’t even exist?! Because of them, I’m now stuck in student debt with likely no way out, ever. This has been a thing for me for several years, now, and I wish I could have a lot more checks to pay it off… work isn’t even that enjoyable for me, either, for the managers may want to help the customers rip off the store and deceive the cashiers, for what we don’t know will kill us. I may have a shot in getting the maintenance position full-time someday soon, but if that doesn’t happen, there’s no telling what I’ll do even though I was promised the position β I pray no one takes it even though that’ll mean getting up at like 5 am daily to get ready and actually haul my butt over to the store to clean after everyone else π π ππ I should probably say when Satan succeeds in giving it to someone else… I can’t possibly expect to have anything go in my favour this time. I don’t even enjoy retail anyway, for they changed the laws a lot here, starting about ten years ago and making everything progressively worse and worse with no sign of anything being reversed. (Hey, that rhymed!) And I can’t be naively optimistic about this, for John 10:10 exists, and we don’t think about it often enough, plus, the fight’s often unfair, if not always, so I don’t know what’ll happen to me when the maintenance guy retires and someone else gets the position… one thing I have learned from him, though, is that where there’s a bunch of rocks in the concrete, that surface is harder to clean than if there were none. The more you know, ladies and gentlemen.
I realise I went off on multiple tangents today, but it doesn’t matter, since I’m sick and I have to miss work tonight due to that… I pray I can recover and maybe have better words to write on here? Haha ππ
In Christ,
Ron Outland
