Fear The Lord Jesus And Love Him Always — The Real Lesson Of Deuteronomy 10 (11/7/2026)

When I read this chapter, found in pages 109-110 of the NKJV Bible I have for this four-translation project, pages 140-141 of the NASB Bible (Old Testament, 1995 version), pages 220-221 in my VOICE copy (with its notes), and pages 224-225 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy, I notice many good things here! I’m also still celebrating God’s victory over MAGA stuff in most places in the U.S. that had happened this Tuesday, so I’m looking forward to when more and more people, whether they had voted them in or not, can frustrate the Trumpianity heresy even further. Yet it may be reversed in more than half the country after this… I don’t know. I think there’s too much extremism in every nation by now, and I don’t want to accelerate the AI “progress” most of the governours are promoting. Indeed, this will sadly continue because of Daniel 12:4 and the fact knowledge is doubling at least once every 12 hours as of 2023. I wish it didn’t chug all the water 💧 I need to drink! But it’s nice that ICE raids may be acted against in more and more places over time, if there’s rest on all sides where this is frowned upon, such as Arizona to an extent. I’m also happy I get to keep the union Fry’s submits to and that our state-sanctioned wages are safe 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝 and most of all, justice may actually be loved and practised for a change 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🤎🖤🩶🤍 but I’m prepared for another devastating event akin to January 6, 2021, and other events similar to Jeremiah 42-44 in response to this. Kind of. I just pray this doesn’t happen again 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩 and I wish this had occurred before I was born. Maybe I would’ve avoided homelessness and my nieces would be in less peril, though they live outside the metro area, now (but not too far away; I hope I can see them). I endured a lot of crap to get to where I’m at now, but you don’t have to do this. But if you’re in even greater peril than I had been because of your love for Jesus, wherever you are, I pray God helps you escape and travel somewhere else to find safety and live a stable life 😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 there was one time a village in China had uninterrupted worship of Jesus for a feeling days without any interference from their government or anyone else. I found this out in a book 📖 called Extreme Devotion, by Voice of the Martyrs. True story. If this can happen there, it can happen anywhere! Too bad safety is in even greater peril in the U.S. and many other nations (though in this nation and a lot of other places, there’s many different contributing factors as to why it isn’t ideal to start a family, like the fact that my kids can get shot and killed just for existing, and I don’t want them to live in this fear, but I can’t do that here).

This chapter starts with Moses recalling to his people of God answering his prayer of making a new set of tablets where the Ten Commandments had been written (verses 1-2). He then put them in the ark of the covenant, where they still were in those days (but I don’t know who wrote verses 5-9, for Moses died in the end of this book). Some places in these verses I didn’t know had even existed! One, though, called Gudgodah, reminds me of when someone says, “Good God!” because they’re shocked at something. I don’t know why we got that idea, but it doesn’t constitute taking His Name in vain. Verses 6-9 also explain the background of why Levi’s descendants, all tracked back to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, don’t have land of their own here, and so does Genesis 49:5-7, based on his and Simeon’s fury in chapter 34. And after Moses recounts his repeat journey onto the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights (verses 10-11), he drives the point home in verses 12-13, where we are to love God wholeheartedly, further explaining it in the rest of the chapter, including verse 16 where it says to curcumcise our hearts for Him — we need His help for that, though. Moses also mentions Him doing this in Deuteronomy 30:6, and that’s also a prophecy of a new covenant akin to Jeremiah 31:31-34, quoted in Hebrews 8:8-12.

I also notice in the VOICE translation of verse 17 that God doesn’t favour the powerful people, for they have no interest in loving Him, but instead, they always promote their own agenda. I do pray God helps those who opposes MAGA stuff who had won an election this week anywhere in the country to do the right thing, though. But I’m not expecting much success… I can dream, though. But again, the AI obsessions will only continue no matter who’s in charge. At least, though, I don’t need to draw a plan to take out the agendas of MAGA leaders… so that’s nice. We don’t need to fight against sins or demonic strongholds with carnality. It doesn’t work that way. Indeed, I don’t think any of the politicians, regardless of where they hold a position, are like Cyrus in Isaiah 44:28. I still find it weird Trump was spoken as if that verse had prophesied his rule. Indeed, the One who had inspired Isaiah to write this… is the same One who inspired the psalmist to write Psalm 146:3-4. I’d rather give that passage the old college try, if you know what I mean. But I don’t want to be unreasonable about it, but as it is written, “For if we have lost our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you” (2 Corinthians 5:13 (NASB)). I guess it depends on whom we run into 😅😅🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ for now, though, I’m resting from work for the next eight days, including today, since I’m on vacation again. Thank God 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇

It’s only 48 days until Christmas, too, and thankfully, I’m about to start my last month of a men’s devotional I’ve been working on since about three weeks after I had moved into Richard’s place, so c. January 2024. I did already write something from it today, though, so no need to write from another entry today. But I’m excited for Christmas time, and I can’t wait to see everything good happen 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I do pray no one can spoil the good by abusing someone and claim Jesus will reward them for it, though 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 it’d be great if it weren’t even possible. I also don’t want to believe the MAGA people will strike back in response to this week’s leadership changes in many different places here. Indeed, one day in Germany 🇩🇪 earlier this fall, a Nazi had won an election in a particular state, but in Hungary 🇭🇺 nationalism was dethroned and good things may have a chance of growing there again. I also want to unify the people here in Jesus and against all heresies that weaponise Him, claiming they bring peace to all mankind as Trump had claimed of himself (not to mention church leaders trying to deceive me into believing that idea God didn’t make) — the dude had needlessly blown up other places and started wars unprovoked. I just wish I had more support from others as the election in 2024 was unfolding. Maybe then there wouldn’t be any MAGA worship where I live. At least, though, most of my neighbours where I now live don’t align with that atheism, so that’s nice. Too bad it’s not so green 😅😅 I do pray for love for all of them, though, including those who’ve never heard the Gospel of Jesus before. And I’d love to see more vegetation beside the roads, too. I pray this would occur…

I want to make many more notes on this book in the next dozen chapters or so as the next week progresses, draw in a colouring book themed around Scripture, and play worship songs 🎵 🎶 on my guitar, not to mention play Super Mario Galaxy in Super Mario 3D All-Stars. I won’t be able to finish the game in ten days, but whatever. I also need to avoid drinking so much iced tea 🍵 since it has a lot of caffeine and it restricts blood flow to my brain 🧠 🙃 😅 🫠 there’s many things I want to do. Can’t I be on vacation mode up to 44 weeks out of the year? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’d LOVE to go to Fiji 🇫🇯 and French Polynesia 🇵🇫 and Hawai’i 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I think the sunsets 🌇 in all these places are some of the best wonders of nature God has ever made 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 too bad I’m in too much debt so that I can’t go anywhere… at least, though, I still don’t need to start making payments on it again for the next eight months. When that happens, I won’t be happy, but thank God I’m now aware I’ll get a 20¢ raise at work every time I work 780+ hours there! I don’t know how long it’ll last, but life is good, right, guys? The only thing that can make it better is if I can see my four nieces and play with them, but if they’re having a blast where they are, that makes me thrilled they’re happy! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 It seems like hope can actually grow here for once because of all this 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I just pray for a better trajectory than what happened in Jeremiah 40-44 after many people around Judah came back to start afresh following the destruction of Solomon’s Temple. It’s only been about four days since the Lord’s victory over MAGA in many places, though, so we’ll see what happens.

In Christ,

Ron Outland
