Abraham and Sarah Reunite! But Fear Is A Real Problem… A Genesis 20:8-18 Monologue (09/16/2019)

There’s so much good material on this second section of this chapter that I don’t know where to begin! I can start with this, though: Abraham was fearful that God was feared by no one (that is, reverenced in a holy manner, NOT BY BEING AFRAID OF HIM, contrary to what is probably still a popular opinion; see verse 11). Weird, huh? But let’s be honest, when haven’t we been afraid about something, or even the idea that people wouldn’t worship Jesus under any circumstance? Abraham’s statement has reverberated throughout time because we know that there are toxic people among us. This passage is found in pages 10-11 of my NKJV Bible, pages 13-14 of my NASB Bible, and pages 23-24 of both my VOICE and Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copies. (I can probably write a thesis paper on this if I were in seminary or something…)

Like I’ve said before, this chapter is pretty underrated, so I’ll take my time to comment through this (it’ll be a long post) โ€” Abraham thought Abimelech would kill him because of Sarah his wife and how attractive she was โ€” they had done this with the Egyptian pharaoh earlier in their lives (see chapter 12). I often think the same thing, actually… ever since the series of events from 2014-2017 (I don’t want to list them here, you can ask me yourself), I’ve often thought that Jesus was seen as a threat to many people… and that even with freedom of religion, He’s still openly persecuted by billions in each country. I do pray that India would have a ton of people become Christian, though. I follow a news page about that country on Facebook. But anyway… I thought a bunch of crazy things following each bike ride I took a week ago, believing that if I mentioned Jesus for any reason, I would be put to death and His testimony would perish among the people of the U.S. and likely the world. For the U.S. still practices the death penalty, and the government loves to indict countless people for no apparent reason โ€” the whistleblowers get ridiculous and thus unjust punishment for exposing a fraudulent deal. I even hesitate to put this online, but I’ll have it published as soon as I’m finished with this post. For who in Christ would want to do damage to anyone? Indeed, the unhypocritical people of God are the kindest in the world! I don’t deserve this nonsense! But thank God redemption can still happen… although I’m most concerned about if someone gets killed by another murderous lunatic because that person knows their victim loves God like Rachel Scott did in 1999. If that happened, even if it weren’t me, I’d go up in arms! But I’ll allow people to discover this post… I don’t want to share too much lest I give room for Christ’s enemies to blaspheme Him… it’s hard to keep a low profile sometimes.

At least Abraham got an amazing deal here, for Issac was born soon after his encounter with Abimelech transpired (Genesis 21:2). Hopefully I find that God will grant me another job and perhaps a better lease on life than what I’ve got now, working partly in the heat for barely anything. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just disturbing that I’ve never been full-time before, and I still haven’t been moved to the produce or deil department in my Fry’s store yet though I submitted the application nearly three months ago. I know my manager can be forgetful, but he remembered this time (he told me that last week) and I frankly shouldn’t be left waiting so long my student loan bills come up before I can pay them… that I have to pay more than what I’m actually making each month. It’s a unionized company, the Fry’s division, so there’s like, no excuse at this point. I hope my friends and other people read this, for I need more prayer than ever. But at least my niece is excited to see me in about 16 hours (it’s 1 a.m. right now), so I thank God for that ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’˜๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’“ it’s not like I’d reveal everything to any one person in particular anyway; I think I might confuse at least a few people.

The note at the end of this chapter that the VOICE editor writes, about Abraham pulling off a deception, is not how I’d interpret that, by the way. Indeed, since lying lips conceal hatred (Proverbs 10:18), and those who hate are murderers and thus not Christian (1 John 3:15), I couldn’t โ€” nor would I โ€” assume that Abraham is a heretic or something. If that happened, God would be contradicting Himself. The note that the editor wrote is a direct assault on Abraham’s character and even against God Himself. I’m hoping I don’t find more notes like this… they’ve proven helpful to me in the past.

Any prayer requests you want to mention to me? Drop them in my e-mail: ron.outlan4727@gmail.com! I’ll read each one, write them down, then tape them to my bedroom walls! I could probably get a fancy paper arrangement for these if I wanted, but I can’t find any that aren’t a seasonal thing except for some post-it notes or something. But tape is more durable, so I’ll be using that. Thanks for reading, see you guys next time.

Abraham The Prophet: Some Words on Genesis 20:1-7 (09/15/2019)

Like I said last Thursday in my last note, Abraham is called a prophet here โ€” he’s the first in ALL the Scriptures to be explicitly mentioned as one. I’ve also learned over time (it was as early as 2011) that prophets are called by God as such today even still, and so are apostles (I learned this about two years later). I know God’s called me to be like Abraham in this manner, but that’s only because He knew I wouldn’t call myself this; I instead wanted God to call me into something greater than what I had been living in at the time… 2019’s arguably better than much of what’s happened in my college days, actually ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡ but I feel no need for anyone โ€” including myself โ€” to say you’re a prophet and do all sorts of funny stuff, yet God can call anyone to this if He wants… but I prefer being sensible, for the most part. I was actually dragged into a mental hospital once partly because of this, and also (mostly) because they believed Christianity was stupid. Either way, one shouldn’t prosecute anyone lightly. I know I wouldn’t. But I’m not a self-appointed prophet, for Jesus called me to do this. Hopefully I can speak life to many people through this and hopefully going abroad. (This passage is found in page 10 of my NKJV Bible, page 13 of my NASB Bible, pages 23-24 of my VOICE copy, and page 23 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.) I think Abraham was called as a prophet to speak for God on a regular basis… I love doing this! It’s weird how anything spiritual is mocked by the culture and government at large, though. But we shouldn’t allow anything detrimental, right? Several friends have spoken the prophet thing over me before, once because I had heard God speak audibly. But I think Abraham was called this because he had heard Him speak before, even before he believed (compare Genesis 12 with chapter 15). Besides, I don’t want to speak for myself again… and as I was writing this, I told my other roommate, Dean, about my prophetic calling โ€” thank God he didn’t rebuke me for knowing this was biblical to walk in! It’s why I never mention it to anyone; people mostly speak this over me, and I wouldn’t blame them!

Also, if you read footnote n in this chapter (found in the original Amplified Bible), you will find that Abraham’s and Moses’ locations are different versions of the same pieces of land. This happens all throughout this book, actually… any confusion might be cleared up with the commentary of that version and/or the book of Exodus… by the way, the footnotes go in alphabetical order until you get to “z,” and then it rests to “a” if there’s a 27th footnote, and of there’s a 53rd footnote, a 79th footnote… and so on. It happens in pretty much every book, if not all of them. I just got done reading Malachi in that version, and from there the footnotes (throughout the New Testament) are very frequent and they never give much information, so I won’t read most of them… unless God wants me to find something interesting, but some footnotes have citations from false sources, like John Calvin, for example, but we don’t need to talk about him ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ and I’m also in Colossians in the NASB Bible โ€” I’ve progressed quite a bit since the last time I mentioned how far I’ve gone in both versions. The South country’s name in verse 1 is spelled differently between the NASB and Amplified classic, though. Also, I really don’t want to forget the Scriptures or treat them lightly, because when you read several versions of the Scriptures front to back in just ten years or so, you can start forgetting if you’re not careful.

I should mention that God came to Abimelech in a dream as Abraham and Sarah were visiting โ€” they passed up the half-sister/half-brother thing without marriage once again; I still don’t think you need to do it today; they must’ve only done it because there weren’t many people in those days โ€” but at least Abimelech didn’t do anything wrong here. But I’m thinking, how often we tell people some of the truth and not reveal the whole thing? I’ll write more on this in the next post, but at least Abraham and Sarah were a godly couple, prioritizing Jesus first, as always. That’s what we do as God’s children. It can happen in many ways, and most of them can be more or less very unusual. I took three bike rides last week and in the first one (it was the day we had gotten back from Prescott in), I found a Bahama Buck’s shaved ice parlour and bought a triple mix there, and also witnessed to an employee about the peace of Christ during my visit. I think the other two people heard it, so I think it was pretty cool, but I often am afraid there is no fear of God anywhere, due to the many hypocrites that believe the world is their oyster, and as a result, think they can do as many satanic and demonic things as they can, especially in terms of passing any of that as if it were godly. It’s really not cool โ€” I was sure I’d meet an ugly end with any of them. It’s been five days since my last spontaneous bike ride, but I’m getting an ugly feeling that someone will persecute me for believing in Christ again… and this time, I won’t make it through the ordeal and live to tell the tale. Anyone who knows me will remember my horrific three-year period of almost constant suffering. I won’t mention it today, though.

Any prayer requests? Leave them in my e-mail: ron.outland4727@gmail.com! I know I have like none right now but I just haven’t publicized it much. In fact, the only link I have in any of my social media accounts that leads to this site is my Instagram bio. But I’ll see you in the next 24 hours or so as I wait for my brother and/or another family member to hopefully get back to me upon seeing Bee this week โ€” everyone’s at work right now, and it sucks that I can’t get there today. But I’m ok with being here in Gilbert right now; I’d still live in the house I’m at until I get married โ€” I want to relax in the pool today, actually ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ–โ˜€๐Ÿ’ง see you guys tomorrow!

Abimelech Again: The Strange Episode of Genesis 20 (09/12/2019)

Hi, friends! Sorry it’s been a bit longer than I anticipated, I’m thinking Jesus didn’t want me to write anything on this yet, at least, not until now. This chapter is found in pages 10-11 of my NKJV Bible, pages 13-14 of my NASB Bible, and pages 23-24 of both my VOICE and Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copies. Abraham goes off to Abimelech a second time (you may remember him from chapter 12), and he tells of Sarah being his sister once again, but when she goes to meet Abimelech, God soon prophesies something over him. He warned him not to touch her, which, thank God, he didn’t ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ also, this note will be pretty short, because I just received some shocking news: I’m getting new Awaken pastors, which I’ve been nervous about before, but they behave about the same, if not exactly the same as my current Awaken pastor does. (You can go to the Awaken Facebook page for more details about this revelation.) I don’t know how to process this… but I don’t want to talk about it here, at least, not today. I’m at least grateful that other good leaders exist, though. I also learned that Abraham was a prophet, which was news to me until I read deeper into this chapter one day over five years ago โ€” I feel this chapter is pretty underrated, actually. It’s the same with a Bethel song I heard over the weekend as we were in Prescott, too, I think, not to mention the whole album. I wish we could carry the fun forever. But thank God new moves of the Spirit happen when we congregate together as one man! That’s what Lisa said tonight; I think Jesus got her to say that ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ I definitely did feel less good about inviting any preacher not from Two Rivers or Hillsong during the retreat, though. For I heard something badly explained during that time once again, and I think it gives room for demonic perversion, actually. I don’t know how I’m going to listen to anything in which the message would be impossible to manipulate. I think we’re all in for a long and possibly very painful road ahead, though, seeing that this nation is getting more and more divisive each day, the Amazon forest keeps burning, and we’re not seeing any help nearby. Pray that none of us fall away… or get killed by an unforgiving organization.

(Sometime after this note was published…) I have some good news, though, you know how you have the whole stones and sand in a jar analogy? There was a second set of stones (all were larger) that Lisa presented in which those black stones were things done in godliness, such as spending time with the Lord Jesus. I told my new friend as Lisa was speaking that there’s lots of hateful people “warning” you that you should do some important stuff and skip out on Jesus. I’ll describe it in the next few posts, though.

Any prayer requests you might have? Leave one (or more) in my e-mail: ron.outland4727@gmail.com! I’ll read each one, write them down, and tape them to my bedroom walls! (It’ll be on paper.) Have a safe evening, everyone! โœŒ๐Ÿผ

The End Of Lot’s Story: Some Weird Episodes In Genesis 19 (09/10/2019)

I tried to post this twice, but in both occasions, I couldn’t get it published (for my Internet connection keeps going down), but I’m not bothered by it, really, for I heard during this weekend that some weird guy is trying to normalize sex with anyone, with or without consent (I’m hoping this is a lie, actually). I pray this doesn’t happen, but if Satan is trying to use the U.S. government to make it a reality all over the world, they might be able to establish a satanic kingdom before the Rapture happens well enough. Still, it’s not as though the Gospel can’t be preached or something. But I found this out both by an independent news network (I don’t know which country it’s from, probably the U.S. โ€” ironic, huh?) and the Holy Spirit telling me His interpretation of this. Regardless, God did say this will be the days of Noah repeating itself before He comes with many crowns (see Matthew 24:37 and Revelation 19:12) โ€” yep, I called Jesus God on the Internet ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž so don’t @ me. Also, I went to Prescott this weekend (it’s Tuesday afternoon as I write this), so I had a fun time, and so did Sarah, though a few things could’ve been better. But I think the speaker was right in saying we don’t need him. By the way, this chapter is found in pages 9-10 in the NKJV Bible I’m using, pages 12-13 of the NASB Bible I bought in 2017, and pages 21-23 of both my VOICE and Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copies (I’ll let you read the footnotes of this chapter in the latter version online; go to biblegateway.com).

We see that Lot urged two angels with hospitality at the gate of Sodom, but when they were there, all the men of the city tried to rape them all, and I’m completely disgusted by this ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ โ€” I don’t think I can stress enough by how much of an unforgivable abomination this satanic move was (and still is; we might never see an end until creation is renewed) โ€” everything was general bedlam. No wonder God destroyed the city, for the root of the problem was materialism (Ezekiel 16:49), so when that started, God knew that it would come to an ugly ending. I don’t think there are enough messages of what we can do in a materialistic culture, though, so that’s why I named this post “The End Of Lot’s Story.” Remember back in Genesis 13:7 that Satan had created animosity between his servants and Abraham’s house (see the post for some more information on that chapter). I think this is where it became perpetual, for when Lot’s daughters got him so drunk he had no idea they even fornicated with him (Genesis 19:30-38), those nations became enemies of Israel for a long time, with too few righteous people in either of them (but look at Ruth! for she was one of Jesus’ ancestors). Regardless, I still pray for both people groups to have complete revival and salvation.

Any prayer requests you might want to submit or make? Drop them in my e-mail: ron.outland4727@gmail.com! I’ll read each one, write them down, and tape them to my bedroom walls. Have a safe day and evening, and I’ll see you soon in chapter 20, for I don’t want this post to be the latest one for very long It’ll be published at 3:00 this afternoon (Arizona time) and I’ll be back soon, perhaps just hours later. Ciao!

Abraham’s Amazing Declaration: Comments On Genesis 18:22-33 (09/04/2019)

I love this exchange between God and Abraham here! He starts with 50 people that can actually desire to glorify Jesus and works his way down to ten, indicating that if there was even one person who loved God in Sodom, He wouldn’t destroy it. Lot was that righteous man (2 Peter 2:7-8), but unfortunately, he couldn’t get anyone saved there. I pray that Bee becomes Christian, though, and that she wouldn’t be unsuccessful in reaching others for Christ, either. I’ve already gotten three people saved since I became Christian (the first of which being someone I had messaged on Tumblr when I was able to access my account there), and I can’t be any happier! Too bad someone can attack my niece whether she’s Christian or not, even though she’s still under two years old. For I don’t have very many pleasant memories about my childhood, especially since retribution seemed to never end. It was as if I was born only to be made prey for others who claimed to love God in the past… I just didn’t find any good Christian communities until I started college, but I didn’t know that hypocrisy was so high for a long time… I wish I could’ve lived on campus, but at least I can enjoy Gilbert with some friends of mine ๐Ÿ˜Š I don’t expect anything good to happen, though, for I’ve already encountered so many angry people in my job (customers and staff) that I’m actually feeling less good about working anywhere in which I engage with others. One guy even exploded with wrath like nuts in front of his own daughter late last July, and she had to have been younger than five years old! I couldn’t stop getting very pissed off. I wish the “sinners in the hands of an angry God” message never happened. We’d be a heck of a lot better off without it. Also, this passage is found in page 9 of my NKJV Bible, page 12 of my NASB Bible, pages 20-21 of my VOICE copy, and page 21 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.

Speaking of anger, I noticed that Abraham had begged God not to be angry with him twice in this passage alone! And the first mention of love I haven’t come across during this journey through four translations at once yet (this happens at chapter 22), and this isn’t even spoken on God’s part. It really sucks that the Scriptures don’t have much mentions of love until it’s too late, it seems. And I don’t know why… I’ve actually heard my pastor disagree with the reality that God is love once, but he’s since recanted that belief… I hope… I’m not expecting anything good in the church or in Prescott this weekend, actually… I’m going there with my Awaken crew Friday afternoon (today’s Wednesday), and I actually heard some offensive preaching by someone speaking in more than half the messages, and because of what I know about the cultural climate in the U.S., I’m not expecting the one speaking this weekend to be any good, either. Indeed, my friends Josh and Abby Thomas got audited by the IRS recently, and I can’t help but think they’re being persecuted because they don’t believe in politics or something. If either of them are done in by them, I might be next! And who knows what might happen to my niece because her mom is from the Philippines, even though she was born here February last year… she can be imprisoned because of this! It’s just not fair! And next thing I know, someone will criticize me for saying this because they think life shouldn’t be fair or even that God is trying to cause the horror of family separation at the U.S.-Mexico border. This kind of thing is completely godless! I bet none of them have ever had any righteous ancestors before.

What also drives me nuts is that even a note on the VOICE copy I have that’s sandwiched between two of the verses in this passage says that God’s mercy has a limit. That simply cannot be true. I don’t want to speak of Sodom’s fate; I assume many people who have read the Bible at least once know of this. Too bad a sickening word has come from this monstrosity, though. I don’t even want to mention it; I think it might be a little inappropriate for this blog, I have no idea. I know the Bible never mentions that term… it’s pretty offensive. But maybe next time, when someone reads this, they won’t repeat the sins of Sodom and her neighbors. I know I don’t want to do anything Lot didn’t like when staying there… I especially pray I don’t dishonour Christ… I’m scared to think of what might happen if someone does that to Him, and I learn of it. But as it stands, Jesus died for everyone there, too, even though this happened almost two thousand years before He was born.

I know I sound pretty bleak today, but I can still remember that it’s still possible to do what Christ says in even the worst of situations based on Proverbs 29:18, for people can go incredibly nuts if we go without revelation long enough. Speaking of which, have any prayer requests like these (or any other)? Drop them in my e-mail: ron.outland4727@gmail.com! Also, I edited my previous post a bit; I put down the wrong page number for my NASB Bible last weekend, but I fixed it. Here’s to hoping nothing sickening happens today… but as you probably know, any hope of peace can soon be destroyed even if Christ backs it up to some degree (but it’s always on the other side)… pray that I don’t have godless men doing irreparable damage to anyone, including myself. It’s also just after 8:30 a.m., so it’ll be awhile before I get to work still (I only have four hours today, though). But God’s faithfulness is true, so I’m hoping to find more of it. Later!

A Legendary Problem: Sodom Versus the Amazon Fire (Genesis 18:16-22) [09/01/2019]

I can’t help but think we’re in danger, for I found out via theatlantic.com last Thursday through a Facebook friend that the Brazilian president is trying to make the fire grow so that the forest is gone ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ it accounts for tons of oxygen that we’ve got in our atmosphere, and if more trees burn down, we might have some unfixable problems by any human means. My friend, Jamison (he went to Awaken until last spring several months ago; he’s turning 30 next month) called the Amazon rainforest “the world’s lungs.” And I don’t blame him! People don’t believe me, but they either don’t know or are too shocked… or both. But I haven’t told many this… and when I was reading the verses for this post (which are found in page 9 of my NKJV Bible, page 12 of my NASB Bible, page 20 of my VOICE copy, and pages 20-21 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy, by the way), I couldn’t help but think of that. For Jesus had contemplated hiding from Abraham the terrifying end of Sodom (verses 17-19) and He let Abraham hear what He was planning to actually go there and see what’s happening (verses 20-21). The “bargain” takes place in verses 23-33, but I put that word on quotation marks because God doesn’t bargain, for He needs nothing from others. Instead, He wanted all to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4), and still does. He never changes (Hebrews 13:8)! Besides, I’m not covering that now…

We also see what some people in Sodom are trying to do to some angels conversing with Lot and his family, but that’s in chapter 19; I won’t cover that one today, either. But another huge reason (and what I think is the main root of the problem) was that Sodom and her neighbours had tons of good but didn’t aid the poor or neglected (Ezekiel 16:49). I wonder how Israel had heard that many years later… nearly 1,400 years had passed between Sodom’s end and Ezekiel’s ministry (spanning from 593-573 B.C.) โ€” but they must’ve behaved the same way that Sodom had done, I don’t know. But many nations behave in ways like this, particularly empires that claim they’re the hope of the world or something. You have to be pretty conceited to believe this, and if you’re not offended by such godless systems, something’s wrong here. True, not everyone knows about that, but I think many multitudes here in the U.S. and in many other parts of the world had their chance. Yet I pray revival in every tribe and nation ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿผโ›ช also, it may seem ironic that I put a church emoji here, but I believe Jesus is the head of the church still, but only the churches that are approved by Him. Regardless, I wish the churches had been more righteous. Speaking of which, hopefully Sarah and I (and maybe some friends and family members) can start some house churches in the area or across the world, if God wills. I believe He’s called me to make many disciples of Jesus across the earth, much of that being in communities. But hopefully no one needs a church building to believe that it’s a Christian community, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ Name, there He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Also, for some reason, the NKJV Bible I have doesn’t make His words red there like all the others. Nevertheless, I can’t investigate now ๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

An interesting note: when I discovered that the Brazilian president was trying to grow the fire, Jamison found it shocking, and I believe the Holy Spirit spoke to me as I was telling Sarah that the same day, saying that politicians (not just the U.S. leadership) all over the world are trying to help the antichrist rebrand the whole world in his image, and that this is prophesied in Scriptures such as Daniel 11:33-39 and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8, but I think the antichrist will be Jewish (don’t worry, it’s not Bernie Sanders โ€” the man of sin hasn’t been revealed yet โ€” but I don’t think any politician is Christian in the U.S., so I’m not expecting much of anything, but I can at least pray for some salvations ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž โ€” it’s not as though people should get into leadership to served or anything, and I haven’t seen any hypocrisy from him yet, but I don’t want to endorse anyone, as if I should show exclusive allegiance to them). We don’t know who he is, but I did find out that Cyrus was racially tolerant and accepting of freedom of religion โ€” two things that the president of today has never been completely interested in. I pray for my family and I (and Sarah, Josh, Abby, and their families, of course) that we’re all safe in these trying times… and that I’m not sleeping or extinct in faith or something. For it’s hard for me to be bold in Jesus if I can’t find enjoyment in anything.

Got any prayer requests? Drop them in my email: ron.outland4727@gmail.com! I’ll read them all and write them down and then post them in my bedroom walls! Anyway, have a safe Labor Day tomorrow (U.S. and Canada)!

My Bible Note Blog Site Is Now On Instagram!

Hi, friends! This might seem a little unusual, but as I said on my last post, you can go to this website by clicking the link of my Instagram bio! I wasn’t feeling too sure of it yet, but I decided that though I didn’t want to put it there when I was writing on Genesis 15 earlier this summer, it probably would’ve been too long of a wait if I had decided to leave it out until I was done with Abraham’s story on Genesis 25. So I feel like chapter 18 really works. I’m not doing the rest of the chapter yet, but I feel like (probably by the Holy Spirit’s prompting) that because I didn’t get any hateful replied to my post on both chapters 18-19 as a whole (for no one I knew to be hostile to Christ could see it because I hadn’t encountered any opposition), and also I had mentioned it at work to a cashier last week, now’s the right time to put my content on social media, at least for one site. I’ve shared it with some friends on Facebook Messenger in the past, but none of them were public messages, so that doesn’t count. Still, it’s nice to expand a bit, don’t you think?

Also, I’m hoping still others read my content and enjoy what I’ve said and believe Christ is speaking through me throughout the entire thing. Obviously, though, I don’t have everything perfect, but I can at least pray that Christ continues to speak through me here, as He just said not to delete this website, of course โ€” He wants all people to know Him and the truths He preaches (1 Timothy 2:4). I don’t know when I’ll expand some more, but I think I’m having fewer moments of being afraid of any publicity, so I thank God for that ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ I’m like, “What a relief.” Anyways, you can submit any prayer requests to my e-mail, ron.outland4727@gmail.com ๐Ÿ˜Š and I’ll see you in the rest of chapter 18, at least after midnight tonight.

The Three Men Are Of Heaven! (A Note on Genesis 18:1-15) [08/27/2019]

I know, I know, no one is born in Heaven, but two of them were actually angels, and the third one was Christ! (I forgot to mention this in my note of Genesis 16, but you can see the footnote of verse 7 in the Amplified Bible: Classic Edition version, which I should say where this passage is found (and in the other three versions I’m using) โ€” the passage is found in page 9 of the NKJV Bible I’m using, pages 11-12 of the NASB Bible I’m using (Old Testament section), pages 19-20 of my VOICE copy, and page 20 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.) I’m just going to say it now: Jesus is addressed as the Angel of the Lord (though not explicitly) in verse 22. I’m not going there today, but I at least want to mention Him here.

I’ve already mentioned on the previous note that someone might be an angel or even Jesus in disguise, so we shouldn’t ignore them, especially when they’re destitute of everything. I know I won’t ignore my homeless friend, Kevin, for he’s been in and out of the streets for 11 years, now. Please pray that he can get the job to get him out of homelessness soon, because he might lose hope if he doesn’t get that one. Besides, it says in Hebrews 13:2 to show hospitality to strangers because we might be unwittingly entertaining angels. The Newsboys band wrote a song about something like this a long time ago. I don’t think I can find a good enough search for it on YouTube, but I believe you can find it on Spotify… I just tried it as I was writing this as there’s some results for it ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽธ๐ŸŽน โ€” anyway, it’s pretty cool how angels can pretend to be human beings! Someone in early 2017 actually asked me more than once if I was an angel! But obviously, no, for I’m not good at staying away from sins much of the time, even when I press into the Holy Spirit. But it doesn’t matter because we don’t need to become angels, thank God! I believe human beings are lovely and fantastic as they are.

When they were done, Sarah laughed but then feared the three men were no ordinary guests. I know I wouldn’t turn down an offer for someone to live with me if I had some room and enough cash to help them, even if only for a few nights and days.. Too bad I can’t really do that with the fact that money’s always tight, though… I wish I could pull off some hospitality to others as my friends have done for me in the past. Romans 12:13 says to give yourself to hospitality, right? If any authority figures don’t like it… too bad. Not to diss them, of course, but something’s gotta change because there’s not enough testimonies of homeless people escaping the ditches of utter destitution and actually thriving because God had pulled them out of it. I hate that expectation keeps you away from the good, too… you know? But I can always let my niece live with me if she needs to โค๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’ and if anyone in my community is opposing this, they’re going to Hell, for they are knowingly attacking God. Someone could be an angel, and I won’t risk anyone’s eternal ruin!

If you have any prayer requests, drop them in my e-mail, ron.outland4727@gmail.com! I just checked and no one’s said anything, but I think it’s just because I haven’t put my URL anywhere yet. So I guess I’ll do that with Instagram soon because I don’t want to put it on Facebook… too many toxic things there. But I’ll see you in the next post!

It Shouldn’t Result In Destruction… The (Terrifying) Truth About Certain Individuals In Life Based On Sodom’s Story: Some Comments On Genesis 18-19 (08/18/2019)

While God had a good reason of eliminating Sodom and Gomorrah, we should remember that it’s never anyone who deserves to know Him that is eliminated by Him โ€” God doesn’t even hate those who reject Him! Yet, as Moses said several hundred years later in Deuteronomy (I forget which chapters and verses), God was angry with everyone there (though Lot had escaped), and though He’s not enraged at anyone now, the truth is… sometimes you notice someone who’s behaved rather unkindly to others and taken delight in their demise, so they don’t have a good ending. I really wish I could avoid such people, but the truth is, they’re everywhere ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ and many of them know to quite an extent about the words of Jesus, but they hate Him for saying these things. And I know people who have hated me for telling them the truth that Christ doesn’t delight in politics. Some of them were close friends, and I’m sure I know people like this today who have gained my trust in the past, but I don’t know who it could be… I wish I could share the gospel with anyone I see, but people’s love for politics and their efforts to tell me stuff that doesn’t work as well as Jesus’ teachings do are getting in the way of that. For there’s never any forgiveness in that, even when the belief about something is good. Oh, I should mention that these two chapters are found in pages 9-10 of the NKJV Bible I’m using, pages 11-13 of the NASB Bible I’m using for this project, pages 19-23 of my VOICE copy, and pages 18-23 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.

I really don’t want to say anything else about this, yet because these chapters are now in today’s Bible canon that Jesus had willed for everyone to read (for these instructions, Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:11, are for all of us, for whom the end of the ages have come), we should talk about this sooner or later… I don’t think everyone has the opportunity in life because sometimes you hear of one cut short by some tragic accident. Still, I’ve been around for 28 years, so I think I can mention this at least once, but contrary to popular opinion, Sodom and Gomorrah didn’t get destroyed because of homosexuality… you don’t really see any episodes of that except for one in chapter 19, and unfortunately that one was attempted gang rape on angels! That deeply pisses me off, and I don’t want to hear of ANY such cases again, male or female. Have you known someone who’s been raped before? I have known some people who endured this, and I don’t want to find that someone else has suffered like this… It’s bad enough that someone I know has been raped by someone she had trusted in late 2016 (I won’t put on here who’s done what or what her name is), but if this becomes more popular or even legal, I won’t be happy about any of it, particularly for Sarah’s and Bee’s sake, for I don’t want anyone else hurt, particularly those close to me. I haven’t seen Bee in weeks, but I can hopefully make it to her swim class on the 30th, for I had requested that day off for that purpose.

Anyway, I realized that the three men in the first half of chapter 18 are angels as I was reading it, and I think Sarah respected and honored them as Abraham had done. Then he pleaded with God about Sodom, to not obliterate it (by the way, look at Ezekiel 16:49-50 to see Sodom’s real guilt โ€” I can’t stress this enough, for the idea that homosexuality is offensive to God and thus enrages Him is stupid, for God’s not even remotely offended at this) โ€” sadly, none but Lot deserved to know Him, so he tried to get his family out, but his sons-in-law believed him to be joking, and they perished, for they ignored the Holy Spirit’s instructions, and God won’t forgive anyone who does that. Plus, Lot’s wife looked back and became a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26, also Luke 17:32) โ€” I don’t want to do this, for those who look back aren’t fit for Christ’s kingdom (Luke 9:62). Thank God Lot still made it out, but weirdly enough, his own daughters got him drunk and fornicated with him, since their spouses died… that’s how Moab and Ammon later were founded, because they had each borne a son to him out of incest, so they didn’t get along with Jacob’s descendants very well โ€” it’s not worth it. I’m grateful my brother and his family actually want to listen to me, as I would’ve listened to my mom had she actually been sincere with me in the first place. Think I’m making this up? Well, check again, guys… if my niece’s parents reject Christ, too, Bee and I won’t be able to stop them from their incessant wrongdoing, just as I couldn’t stop my mom from doing anything she wanted, no matter how much I more or less hated it. I want to lead my niece to Christ before someone else gets to her first. I’m just grateful that Christ appeared to me in a vision in 2009 so I’d become His forever. His teachings are a lot more liberating and perhaps more profitable than the others’ ways of life are (though I’m not seeking anything above Him) and more fun!

I’ll go on more further into chapter 18 before I explore the city of Sodom throughout the Scriptures… I guess it’s a good thing I was born almost four thousand years after it was gone (there’s still no trace of it today because of the fire and brimstone) โ€” I wouldn’t do well with it. Yet the U.S. is a lot like Sodom today, but I won’t mention anything about it now. Instead, I’d like to ask (because we’re at the end of this note): do you have any prayer requests? Send them to my e-mail: ron.outland4727@gmail.com! I’ll write them down once I read them and tape them to the walls in my bedroom. If I do find that there’s a lot of them, I’ll probably buy some large post-it notes or something, but it might be better to use paper and tape. Also, if you’re following me on here, and you’re writing posts like I am, you’ll notice a number after the URL you’ve made, as I notice one after mine. I like to think of the one that’s appearing here as the Deer Valley Road route… if Valley Metro here in Arizona creates it. I think it’d be brilliant, at least from 35th Avenue to around Tatum Boulevard, beyond the 101 freeway in north Phoenix. My family lives not very far from that road, and I think it’s really awesome! I had always loved the northern Phoenix area, especially in the rural portions, but even when you go beyond Deer Valley Road, it’s not so rural anymore… still, I’d love to buy a house in Carefree or something close to the forest, and maybe rent it out, if I could afford the place and work with others who want a safe place to live. Nevertheless, I’ll see you in the next few posts when we explore more of chapter 18!

Circumcision And Blamelessness: A Temporary Call for Abraham And His Descendants (Genesis 17) [08/16/2019]

I just reread chapter nine of Brian Houston’s There Is More book, and noticed verse one of this chapter in it. And it’s in the first Amplified Bible version that the author had pulled it from! (Speaking of which, this chapter is in pages 8-9 of the NKJV Bible I received as a gift once (this is the same Bible I use for that translation; I didn’t switch to a bigger one, likewise for any of the others), page 11 of the NASB Bible (Old Testament), pages 18-19 of my VOICE copy, and pages 19-20 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.) The verse was quoted in page 130 in that book, on the bottom, actually.

I hope to remain blameless before Christ, which I’m sure He’ll continue to do for me, but I’ve seen people try to ruin the dreams God had spoken for me, even after some friends had declared me a prophet to the nations! (Disclaimer: I do not believe you should set yourself up to be someone like this; it depends on Christ’s call. But you don’t need to be one to be prophetic. Besides, it’s just one part of Christ’s invisible Church that He’s got.) Whatever Christ calls me to do, I’m going after it with everything I’ve got! It’s really hard to do that (not to mention frustrating) when I see anti-Christian oppositions such as blaming one’s own sons or daughters for any reason, a rude cashier fueling the fires of godless anger, worship of politics, and sometimes un-Christian products I don’t touch, just to name a few. I’ve written before how the whole country has delighted in anger since before its inception. Well, Calvinism (a belief in things such as double predestination, limited atonement, and perseverance of the saints, all of which are thoroughly false yet embody Christ’s truth and godliness, even quoting numerous Scriptures to try to back them all up) is actually a big reason the U.S. now exists! I don’t know how many others may have had a similar conception (I speak in terms of making new countries), but one thing I know is sure: Christ and His teachings have never been popular. I hope people read this, for I want other people who may or may not live in the U.S. to become Christian as well. For Jesus has never not wanted people to be saved. And I’m just going to warn you right now: the circumcision thing โ€” that was more often than not done religiously after God had said the things recorded in this chapter of the Bible. For Stephen says in Acts 7:51-53, ” You stubborn, stiff-necked people! Sure, you are physically Jews, but you are no different from outsiders in your hearts and ears! You are just like your ancestors, constantly fighting against the Holy Spirit. Didn’t your ancestors persecute the prophets? First, they killed those prophets who predicted the coming of the Just One; and now, you have betrayed and murdered the Just One Himself! Yes, you received the law as given by heavenly messengers, but you havenโ€™t kept the law which you received” (VOICE). Stephen was recounting Israel’s history from Abraham to David and Solomon and notes God’s statement in Isaiah 66:1-2. As the note that is printed between this and verse 51 says, such a strong message strikes a nerve, and Stephen becomes the first martyr of the Church because of it. Thank God he said as he was dying just moments later, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” (Acts 7:60, NASB) I think we’re past the point of no return, seeing that tension between the believers and the hypocrites who go to churches such as Cornerstone (not bashing any persons, but there’s too many fakes in these places). Six years ago, I mentioned the Calvinism problem in my Tumblr post, before I no longer posted anything on it. And, well… just read it. Many things have happened since then, of which I can’t go into detail tonight. But right-wing ideas have since gained more power, and I think we’re ruined as a result. I don’t want to have a fatalistic mindset, though. I’ll explain why…

Jesus is coming to take His people into the heavens who are still alive, fulfilling the Rapture prophecy (1 Thessalonians 4:17). Hopefully, I’m one of those people who experience this opportunity. Yet from the popularity of this teaching in the 1970s throughout the Church came much hatred against Christ, thinking, “This world is going to Hell. If we don’t promote the truth like crazy, Jesus won’t come back!” But this was the attitude of the Pharisees when they were alive in Jesus’ time, for they expected political power to triumph over the Romans. It’s no different in the world among churchgoers today, for not only are gunmen worshipping the president and promoting God’s Name in what seems like endless hatred as if He encouraged it… people are dragging down those whom Jesus came to heal, such as the asylum seekers fleeing violence in Central America, the transgender and homosexual people, the impoverished in any part of the world, those who want a future (whether they can afford college or not), enslaved men, women, and children, the suicidal, those who harm themselves, the homeless (I’ve been homeless twice myself in the span of five years, and both stints were before my 27th birthday less than two years ago), the rape victims (and others afflicted by sexual abuse and violence) โ€” I could go on. It’s not as though God put Abraham in Canaan for nothing, though. For Jesus was born from him about two thousand years after this occurred, and He lived a perfect life, forgiving everyone in the end by His sacrifice, and rising again so we could live. Too bad many grotesque things happened in between those two lifetimes, and people still follow after these evil deeds, with many by now knowing the truth of Christ’s love for them and others bot not believing it by being unmerciful and unforgiving โ€” you can turn to James 2:13 for what happens to those who hate mercy. It does say that mercy triumphs over judgment, though, thank God! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Just a sidenote (this doesn’t have much to do with the post), Ishmael’s 12 sons fathered the Bedouin tribes now in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where Islam was later founded in 622 A.D. by Mohammed the “prophet” โ€” he was said to be the last of Abraham’s offspring, but I think Abraham still has many descendants today, even those who don’t have Sarah as a matriarch (read Genesis 25:1-6 for Abraham’s other wife (and their descendants) after Sarah’s death). Mohammed did many reprobate deeds anyway, so that alone should tell you Islam is no good (he had founded the Islamic religion and had written the Quran, teaching nonstop hate โ€” thank God many people in the Middle East hate a lot of what’s in it!) Also, Muslim tradition tells you that Abraham built the “kabah” (Arabic for “cube”) โ€” that wasn’t built by him, I don’t think. It’s not like Abraham would establish anything violent… you know? Didn’t Jesus say that Abraham didn’t behave like the Pharisees did during His time? (See John 8:40.) Still, I pray for many people in the Middle East to become Christian; hopefully someone can translate this in Arabic, including the statement that Jesus loves everyone. The Internet is a huge platform with too many possibilities, numbering in trillions upon trillions (and counting) of informational things and hilarious clips, not to mention entertaining videos of Nintendo games such as the Mario Kart series and Super Monkey Ball 2. But I’m sure you know there’s inappropriate content across the websites, so watch out for any demonic influences and idolatry and sexual innuendo. Still, someone’s gotta know Arabic and English fluently; there’s nearly eight billion people in this world, you know. I pray people in Iran become Christian, too… I had a dream once that I was in Iraq and I was trying to share the Gospel with someone and authorities found out… it wasn’t very pretty, but thankfully, the dream ended there.

Also, Abraham was doubting that God would give him and Sarah a child, for they were well advanced in years, but still they were holding out for Him to bring Issac into the world. I think we can all behave like this sometimes. But just to be clear: I do not believe in the prosperity gospel message, for they say it always happens to believers in Christ and the Bible tells us otherwise. The prosperity message is embedded in American culture, too. I think it’s Calvinistic as well; it’s really weird. Unfortunately, people get offended by things like this, and that can silence even a strong speaker. I’ve been told I was offensive by the spiritual gifts I was trying to speak about, not to mention the truth about Christ’s love for everyone, and that none is left out of His sacrifice on the cross โ€” little did I know that offense was a powerful weapon, for I was put in a mental hospital for no good reason. and many bad things followed after I was released. Those were dark days, guys. I still get flashbacks. I’m grateful to live with two friends who love me like brothers, but even though a year had passed before I got calls about paying back debts last summer (it’s now mid-August), it’s not enough; I thought I could pay them back later… I guess our country’s leadership has always been greedy for cash. My student loan debt has actually increased even with my rehabilitation program for it finished. Thank God the company I’m working with isn’t backed by any political power, though.

Anyway, it’s almost midnight and I have work in less than ten hours, so do you want to give me any prayer requests? Drop them in my e-mail: ron.outland4727@gmail.com! I’ll read each one and write them all down on my bedroom walls! (I still haven’t gotten any, though, but maybe I just don’t write on here much.) Anyway, I really need to go, so I’ll see you in the Sodom and Gomorrah chapters… oh, God, this’ll be a wild ride ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
