The Approach To Canaan and Israel’s Greatest Blunder So Far… I Can’t Believe This Is Actually Unpopular (Numbers 13-14) [03/29/2026]

I don’t want to write too much today, mostly because I have work in less than three hours (it’s just after 7 a.m. where I live) — I probably will explain this in further detail in the coming weeks ahead, though. These two chapters are found in pages 86-87 of the NKJV Bible I have for this four-translation project, pages 110-112 of the NASB Bible (Old Testament), pages 175-178 of my VOICE copy, and pages 178-181 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.

This story about Israel almost taking Canaan… I sort of understand that the Lord was going to judge them through the Israelites (but He’s never enjoyed anyone’s death; see Ezekiel 18:32, 33:11), but knowing that this was going to occur in the first place does really suck… yet they had a very strong influence in Egypt while Israel was there, so that Israel would be like them… and I also know Jesus wants them saved, too, whether it’s Israel or Canaan (Matthew 24:14, also 1 Timothy 2:4). However, I don’t agree with the words the VOICE staff decides to use for Numbers 14:12, for I’m not convinced they’re… reflective of the Hebrew there. It’s too bad it’s often awkward at best to render a good English version… but if you remember that I had said in Leviticus 26’s note that even the Bible translators are afraid of God, you’ll understand that unfortunately, too many people by now among the staff in probably every team want Jesus to be One of conquest by force, as if He were to work according to the Romans of His time šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„ I mean, today’s Palm Sunday, and not addressing Jesus as the One who puts an end to multiple wars and worldly thinking (both lust and power alike) — He may not be forgiving should this be ignored in the churches again. But when they do this today, more and more people will turn away from Him… and I mean people who don’t believe in violence and money-worship. I think those “churches” are of the Illuminati’s plan to exalt satanic content šŸ˜“šŸ˜“šŸ˜“šŸ˜“šŸ˜“ and if a church has been godly here in the past, they’re no longer practicing safety… I think they believe 1 Thessalonians 5:3 a little too well. For there is none here, and yet they lie about the Lord Jesus and say, “Not He, misfortune won’t happen to us, and we won’t see sword or famine, and the prophets are as wind, and the word is not in them. Thus it will be done to them!” (See Jeremiah 5:12-13.) So when I say this is Israel’s greatest blunder so far (the refusal to enter Canaan and God’s sharp response to them, detailed in chapter 14), this really is their worst mistake yet, and Hebrews 3-4 references this and mentions unbelief as the primary culprit. And unbelief here is probably at an even greater level now… I can’t wait for Jesus to return so I don’t have to see this again 😭😭😭😭😭😭 and yes, I was inspired by a few Threads posts explaining the truth about Palm Sunday to write this, seeing Jesus had come as humble instead of looking like some kind of Chad alpha-male who believes in bravado above everything, including love and humility… and on anl donkey, no less! That looks like something most of us would rather avoid, sadly… but I don’t!

I need to explain to my therapist (yes, I’ve been seeing one for professional help the last few weeks) that I actually feel like some stupid, spoiled brat whenever I address an unmet need or even try to fulfill a good responsibility most of the time and therefore cannot feel safe half my days 😬😬😬😬😬 if I get another profound loss because I mention the truth, they’ll be held responsible for this, and Jesus will NEVER forgive them, just as He had rejected everyone at least 20 years old (except Caleb and Joshua, see Numbers 14:24 and Joshua 1:9) during the wilderness journey. Worse still, they’ll claim, “It’s for your own good, son” — Jesus is nothing to them all šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø and yet, if I mention something good in due season but the enemies of the Lord prevail upon me for this (and prevail they will), I’ll be stuck in MORE mega-crap — it’s just easier to say Jeremiah 20:9 is being lived out again. Life is but a fight I was born into, and I don’t belong here… if I can make it past these next few days, I’ll be back with writing a note on Numbers 13. See ya!
