Leviticus Retrospective (08/29/2025)

I need to be honest, I felt more like I was enduring the writing notes on this book thing rather than enjoying most of it, for I knew the book was full of stuff God never wanted, and there’s not much you can do with it anyway (except several of the passages of Leviticus 19, most of which are alluded to in James 5). I did rediscover the event in which someone blasphemed God in chapter 24 not that long ago, though. Again, I wish the hateful men I’m stuck being in the midst of were unable to use it as a basis for saying that NO blasphemy or anything else was forgivable 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ Jesus’ words in Matthew 12:31 and the other verses similar to it (as well as His comments about divorce in Matthew 19:8) are what the Bible really teaches concerning not just blasphemy, but everything in the Law of Moses with it. When are we going to learn?? 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

I also don’t have too much time to write anything on this site, for when I can’t do it during a particular month, I’m off writing on the LEB Bible instead… by hand. So far, I’m only halfway through Genesis 7, and I’m starting to think I’ll need some help with doing this offline if I want both this and that completed by the time I pass away. But God-willing, I’ll see you in the next book, where we discuss Israel’s strain with God (one Bible I read once explained to me that Leviticus was schooling, but Numbers is adolescence). Until next time, peeeeeeeace out (haha sorry I used an outdated joke) ✌🏼
