Even More Of What God Never Wanted But Demonstrated As A Shadow Of Things To Come (Part 6): Atonement And Scapegoats — Leviticus 16 (12/24/2024)

Believe it or not, this is where we get Yom Kippur from, for the Jewish people observe this every year. I think it’s in the fall, but I’m not really sure… but I know today’s Christmas Eve, and I want to make this brief and clear: we don’t need scapegoats today, for if left unchecked, it leads to hate and violence, and I don’t want to be caught in that mess… but this chapter is found in pages 67-68 of the NKJV Bible I have, pages 87-88 of the NASB Bible I have (Old Testament), pages 142-144 of my VOICE copy, and pages 140-142 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.

Anyways, my heart gets broken every time I hear of someone being scapegoated (blamed) or someone else’s mistakes, and I found out in early 2019 that the U.S. is full of fault-finders (see Jude 16 (NASB)) — I think I knew it all along, but thank God the pastor of my church mentioned it that Sunday morning! If only forgiveness wasn’t hated here so much… it’s also weird because there’s so many churches in the U.S. Yet the global Church has more enemies of Christ than the unbelieving world probably does… we’re supposed to be the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), not curse Jesus in our souls for creating someone, whether he/she sins differently from you or me! I think I’ve mentioned it A LOT in the last however many years I’ve noticed this; why not go to church tonight instead, if it preaches the Gospel of Jesus? Sadly, there’s not many that do this… but thank God Jesus died for all mankind, as this chapter points to (see Hebrews 10:10).

If anyone opposes this and says, “What pretext for a case against the reader can we find?” then God will fight against them with His sword, just as Job had said in Job 19:28-29 concerning those who hate a human being because he loves God. Hopefully we can show mercy to them, though (see Matthew 5:43-48 and Luke 6:27-36). Yet it’s always a battle between the Lord Jesus and the unforgiving people we live among — He doesn’t enjoy the wars they make against Him 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 I’m really sorry that this is the world we live in… and the unforgiving people never had an excuse to oppose Jesus and His goodness. Indeed, by this point, there’s not too many unreached people groups that don’t have any Christians (there’s probably just under 3,000, but whatever), so soon, He’s going to snatch up His bride, and those who didn’t delight in the truth and thus be saved (2 Thessalonians 2:10) He will defeat, together with their father, the devil — I don’t know how much more unforgiving people the followers of Jesus can withstand, and I fear that soon, because of Trump’s second victory last month, I’ll be dead because Jesus opposes both communism and fascism, and frankly, I can’t accept either one. Thank God I have friends that are in the same boat as I am in mind, but that’s uncommon even among my congregation. So I pray I can be a faithful martyr, if necessary, to the messages of Jesus from the Gospels. Hopefully you’re safe, if you’re reading this.
