I don’t understand much about this chapter but I do remember, from looking at verse 17, that sacrifices were burned outside the camp (Hebrews 13:11). This chapter is found in pages 61-62 of my NKJV Bible, pages 78-79 of my NASB Bible, pages 131-132 of my VOICE copy, and pages 128-129 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.
I’m touching on the whole “outside the camp” thing (I don’t know if I’ve done this before on here) because while I think Gilbert’s a place I can call home (because of my church), I’m currently at a friend’s place in southwest Mesa since I can’t afford a house right now (but that friend’s pretty solid so far), and unfortunately, I know that my living situation will expire one day, and it’ll be forever before I can get out of student debt, so I don’t expect to find anything after this. I do want to preach the Gospel to people coming here from Mexico, though, but I’ll need to do that on the Holy Spirit’s initiative… but one thing I do like is that the men’s and women’s World Cups will be here in North America (or at least the 2026 World cup will be), and I want to go to some of the games to announce hope to the guests coming in from other countries! ⚽️🏟🏆 And don’t worry, my friend/roommate knows some of what I want to do one day, including buying a house in Gilbert, if I can. I do pray I’m prepared for anything evangelism-related to the foreigners, though.
This is a short one, as the service Aaron and his sons are set apart for I can’t find much worth mentioning in chapters 8 and 9 (but chapter 10 is quite sobering). I’ll get to the other chapters eventually. Later!
