Another Round of instructions to Moses, Part 5 (Exodus 29) [03/21/22]

If you’re anything like me, you probably find it difficult to remember all the details God is having Moses write down for what the Israelites had signed up for (given the content of what I’ve written on here before, and also Ezekiel 20:25-26, believe it or not) —- so there’s not much I can say again… but this chapter is found in page 49 of my NKJV Bible, pages 62-64 of my NASB Bible, pages 107-109 of my VOICE copy (with the notes sandwiched in-between some of the verses) and pages 102-104 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.

I think there isn’t much I can actually remember, but verse 26 does talk about a wave offering to God, and I’m reminded of a Tumblr post I saw years ago hilariously preaching that crowd-surfing is in the Bible πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸŸπŸŽΌπŸŽ΅πŸŽΆπŸŽ™πŸŽšπŸŽ›πŸŽ€πŸŽ·πŸŽΈπŸŽΉ I still believe they were speaking the truth, honestly, for we need some interesting elements in this world, since earth without art is just “eh” πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ this is found again in Numbers 8:5-13 πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£ I hope I don’t get reproached for saying this… but the last two verses in this Exodus chapter I can remember deal with the fact that Jesus deserves to be our leader and our God, too. Hopefully we remember He loves everyone and believes friendship is good.

Also, it’s important to remember that if God wanted something done a certain way, He’d show us the steps. But the Israelites actually believed in religion… weird. Still, we see that politics wasn’t a thing until Samuel’s time was drawing to a close (1 Samuel 8) I showed a friend from church the Judges 11:29-40 passage about a week ago, and it’s difficult to map out what exactly the protagonist did after his victory, since he’s still a pillar for the faith in Hebrews 11:32 —- I don’t actually think his daughter was sacrificed, since technically, the Hebrew for verse 39 doesn’t quote him word for word on verse 29. I’m convinced she was taken into Heaven without death, actually… it says in the Hebrew of verse 40 she was commemorated. Good news, I think. But more of that later.

What I can write down tonight on here, though, is that we should be lights to the earth, as Jesus said in Matthew 5:14. I hope I can pull off a better example of this, honestly… but I pray that we can enjoy Jesus and life, and I’ll see you in chapter 30!
