Genesis Retrospective (09/21/2020)

Hi, guys! As promised, the retrospective on Genesis! I don’t think I can say much since I’ve commented on it for nearly two years, but the word “genesis” means “beginning” in the original Hebrew. It tells us of how everything came to be: creation, humanity, sin, the nations, and the start of a grand plan from Heaven! And thank God He had thought of it before the world was even created! I had a lot of fun writing on this book, and I can’t wait to go through the other four books of the Pentateuch (which, as a reminder, are the first five books of the Bible, a.k.a. the books of Moses, and essentially its foundation for the rest of the Scriptures, including God mentioning the resurrection in Exodus 3 as Jesus said much later). Tomorrow, when I’m not working, I should write on the beginning of Exodus — spoiler alert: you won’t find a lot of promising things for a while, and most of this will be very high severity, since God’s heart was broken multiple times. But I don’t want to comment on the severity as much as I would declare God’s goodness to everyone.

Well, here goes nothing…
