So I Went Out Of Town Again…

I wish I could say I do this often, but then I’d be delusional, for I can’t leave town very frequently. I would’ve gone to Sedona last month for a hike, but I couldn’t get that day off 😭😭😭😭😭 however, I was able to go to Prescott (a city in northern Arizona) for a retreat with Awaken this weekend, so I enjoyed everything there. I had trouble with the messages, but I guess Jesus hadn’t spoken through the main speaker to me much, if at all. But I was able to hear Him through some friends, and now I know I don’t need to pay attention to divisive things, and that when someone uses Scripture as a weapon, it’s a thing from the flesh instead of the Holy Spirit. Oh, normally, I write a note on a Bible passage here, but I feel led by the Holy Spirit to take it easy like I did in Prescott this weekend. Still, I feel it necessary to say I don’t think it’ll be easy to focus if the peace of the Holy Spirit is never mentioned in anything… the speaker came from a place where things were rough, but while many people in the churches comment on the West Coast and how chaotic it is there, I feel the need to say this: why aren’t there many people from most other places praying for them? This isn’t the U.S. I can take pleasure in… oh, I’d go out of town more often, I just don’t want to get in trouble at work, and I’m sick and tired of getting too few hours there, but don’t worry about it, for I can sell books online. Maybe I can make a good revenue from it? I pray for the Holy Spirit’s blessing on this! Oh, anyway, you know how the speakers too often mention persecution? What if most of them are trying to spoil the fun? That’s something to think about. But I’ll see you later, sorry I didn’t bring up any Bible passages here; I just figured I’d instead write on how this weekend’s trip went. But if we’re honest, I’d like to get away for recreational purposes (not by smoking weed, come on, I mean I’d simply enjoy the area) more often because I can’t seem to find the right content for me to enjoy when I go on a church trip these days. Ok, now I’m done talking… see ya!
