The Three Men Are Of Heaven! (A Note on Genesis 18:1-15) [08/27/2019]

I know, I know, no one is born in Heaven, but two of them were actually angels, and the third one was Christ! (I forgot to mention this in my note of Genesis 16, but you can see the footnote of verse 7 in the Amplified Bible: Classic Edition version, which I should say where this passage is found (and in the other three versions I’m using) β€” the passage is found in page 9 of the NKJV Bible I’m using, pages 11-12 of the NASB Bible I’m using (Old Testament section), pages 19-20 of my VOICE copy, and page 20 of my Amplified Bible (Classic Edition) copy.) I’m just going to say it now: Jesus is addressed as the Angel of the Lord (though not explicitly) in verse 22. I’m not going there today, but I at least want to mention Him here.

I’ve already mentioned on the previous note that someone might be an angel or even Jesus in disguise, so we shouldn’t ignore them, especially when they’re destitute of everything. I know I won’t ignore my homeless friend, Kevin, for he’s been in and out of the streets for 11 years, now. Please pray that he can get the job to get him out of homelessness soon, because he might lose hope if he doesn’t get that one. Besides, it says in Hebrews 13:2 to show hospitality to strangers because we might be unwittingly entertaining angels. The Newsboys band wrote a song about something like this a long time ago. I don’t think I can find a good enough search for it on YouTube, but I believe you can find it on Spotify… I just tried it as I was writing this as there’s some results for it 😊🎼🎢🎸🎹 β€” anyway, it’s pretty cool how angels can pretend to be human beings! Someone in early 2017 actually asked me more than once if I was an angel! But obviously, no, for I’m not good at staying away from sins much of the time, even when I press into the Holy Spirit. But it doesn’t matter because we don’t need to become angels, thank God! I believe human beings are lovely and fantastic as they are.

When they were done, Sarah laughed but then feared the three men were no ordinary guests. I know I wouldn’t turn down an offer for someone to live with me if I had some room and enough cash to help them, even if only for a few nights and days.. Too bad I can’t really do that with the fact that money’s always tight, though… I wish I could pull off some hospitality to others as my friends have done for me in the past. Romans 12:13 says to give yourself to hospitality, right? If any authority figures don’t like it… too bad. Not to diss them, of course, but something’s gotta change because there’s not enough testimonies of homeless people escaping the ditches of utter destitution and actually thriving because God had pulled them out of it. I hate that expectation keeps you away from the good, too… you know? But I can always let my niece live with me if she needs to β€πŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ€ŽπŸ–€πŸ€πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’—πŸ’ and if anyone in my community is opposing this, they’re going to Hell, for they are knowingly attacking God. Someone could be an angel, and I won’t risk anyone’s eternal ruin!

If you have any prayer requests, drop them in my e-mail, ron.outland4727@gmail.com! I just checked and no one’s said anything, but I think it’s just because I haven’t put my URL anywhere yet. So I guess I’ll do that with Instagram soon because I don’t want to put it on Facebook… too many toxic things there. But I’ll see you in the next post!
